RATEL hunting knife
Made of Böhler N690 steel, hardened to 59 HRC, it has high corrosion resistance and long-lasting sharpness.
- Concave sanding (hollow sanding) ensures a clean, precise cut, while the steel with a glossy finish highlights the elegance of the design.
- The hand-engraved garda and Desert Ironwood handle provide perfect balance and a natural, secure grip.
- All this is complemented by a cowhide scabbard and a maple wooden box lined with red velvet.
A craft that doesn't accept compromise.
Each of my knives is born from a combination of fire, steel, wood and passion. I choose materials with a soul: stainless steel, wood made from recycled oaks or horn that carries the history of the forest. My knives are handmade-from the first cut to cutting and engraving. There is no room for mass production, only patience and artisan precision.

More detailedChoose a knife that will be your companion.
I have prepared a mini-training course for you that will help you consciously choose a knife-whether for hunting, handicraft or everyday use.
Your knife
Your rules.
We start each project with a conversation-about your needs, style, and the story you want your knife to tell. Then I prepare a concept, quote, and create a one-of-a-kind blade step-by-step.
Craftsman. Hunter. Artist
My name is Hubert Zdunek. I create knives that not only cut, but also last and remind you of the human connection with nature. In my studio, steel and wood combine to become more than just a tool-a personal companion on the road.
